Figure 4 Take-down Series
The following videos are part of the Figure 4 Take-down series that I have been utilising for a few years and have had great success with at competition and at the gym.
There are a few entries however the one shown in the first video is the most common. The other videos showcase the three most common opponent attempts to escape and how to counter them with a submission.
The key to all of this is the correct tension and application of pressure. You also need a good partner to give realistic resistance while you rep. As with all techniques it will take several hundred reps before you solidify it as part of your game.
